Dr. Kimberly Smiley is a licensed clinical psychologist based in Marietta, Georgia, with over 20 years of experience in helping individuals, couples, and families thrive. Since 2003, she has worked with clients navigating anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, divorce, and relationship challenges.

As a certified Prepare/Enrich counselor, Dr. Smiley created Atlanta Marriage Prep to help engaged couples develop the skills, insight, and confidence to create marriages that last. Her premarital counseling sessions are known for being approachable, personalized, and grounded in research-backed practices.
Beyond the Office
Dr. Smiley lives in Cobb County, GA, with her two children. She’s a proud soccer mom, volleyball mom, musical theater mom, and an avid reader. Her favorite moments include cheering on her son from the sidelines, watching her daughter shine on stage or on the court, and enjoying game nights with family. This connection to everyday life is what makes her counseling style warm, real, and deeply human.
